Google has released its annual ranking of India’s most-searched entertainment titles — and the results confirm what dominated conversations online. Indian audiences embraced a mix of Bollywood, pan-Indian cinema, and massive international hits.
Among films, „Vyanvapi Mein” and „Napoleon” led the list, followed by blockbuster thrillers and franchise extensions like „Animal” and „Vikram”. Indian viewers showed that they love both homegrown cinema and global prestige releases.

In series, search traffic was driven by major streaming sensations. „Squid Game 2” took the top spot, but local favourites like „House of America Season 3”, „Family Man Season 3”, and „Asur 2” proved India’s streaming market is maturing at lightning speed. The demand for suspense, big-budget storytelling and character-driven sagas shaped the landscape in 2025.
The takeaway? India has become one of the world’s most dynamic streaming markets — and its Google ranking reflects a population hungry for spectacle, emotional narratives, and franchise universes.
